1. I am done with my teacher class.
2. I was able to sleep in (until 8, but that's late for me).
3. My in-laws are in town = fun day!
4. There are only two days between me and the BEACH!
Speaking of my in-laws in town - mine are quite amazing. For example, look at what my mother-in-law brought home for my from the mall yesterday:
She knew I didn't have any bracelets - so she definitely got my collection started!
Along with a few bracelets I found in my jewelry box, I was able to create my very first stack.
What do you think?
Last night we had quite the storm here in Maryland - I saw an exit sign in the middle of the highway, a tree in the middle of my road, and blue lightening. This morning we woke up and saw this in our backyard:
My mother-in-law and I went out to get some pastries and discovered that half of our town doesn't have any power. Fortunately, we were not one of many to lose power - and I feel so bad for all of those that are without today, especially because the heat index is supposed to get up to 110. That is just gross.
And for those of you who posted on Facebook (you know who you are) that we all need to stop complaining that it's hot because its summer, you can go suck it - because summer isn't supposed to feel like this. Last time I checked, summer did not equal HELL, and I am pretty sure Baltimore was trying its best to impersonate the fiery place yesterday.
I hope everyone is staying cool and hydrated - maybe you're off to check out Magic Mike in the nice a/c of the movie theater - or perhaps you're sunbathing at a pool - either way, HAVE A SUPER SATURDAY!
Love the stack, very cute!
ReplyDeleteThank you!!
DeleteLove the stack, looks cute....tell the MIL I need a bracelet collection too :)
ReplyDeleteHaha okay :)
DeleteYEAH! The stack looks great!
ReplyDeleteSorry, but I'm one of those who complains about those complaining about the weather (except I only do it in my head, haha)! I only do it because we're literally the only part of the country (Seattle) who isn't experiencing insane hot weather. No, we get low 60s and rain. Even though I don't want 100+ (and will never see it out here, thank goodness!) I'd like it to be a LITTLE warmer!
