I think that is the only thing that will get me through this work week is knowing that I am making my first trip to Europe on Saturday. And that I won't have to see little kids for 11 days. Yippee skippy ki-yay.
Larry the Leprechaun punked my class on Friday - he tore up our room and left some stickers on their desks. It was quite possibly the most hilarious thing I have ever seen - my students screaming and running around the room looking for him - a little girl crying under her desk - ohhh the joys of tricking little ones.
We went out for St. Patty's day on Saturday with some friends and came across this guy... and his baby. I am still puzzled as to whether or not he owned that baby doll, or bought it for the occasion, and why he had it out with him in public.
We all ended up at my favorite kareoke joint and it seems as though my husband thought it would be a good idea to videotape me singing... I would post it for you all to see, but I can't get it to upload. What a shame.

Have a safe trip :) Oh boy , this kid must be a super bully!
ReplyDeleteLOL @ the guy and his doll! Hopefully he just bought it for the day! The classroom is hilarious, totally got a mental picture of kids running around screaming! So jealous of your Europe trip! Hope you're having a good monday. Found ya on Northern Belle Diaries.

Following you on BL!
ReplyDeleteI am creeped out by that baby doll carrying man. WTH.
My husband mentioned going to Norway yesterday out of the blue. What are you guys planning to do/see there?
LOL! Oh my, if my husband caught my one and only karaoke time on video, I would be terrified! So embarrassing.
ReplyDeleteAnd that baby doll thing, weird! haha.
Such a fun weekend.
I own that same shirt & just wore it on Thursday!
ReplyDeleteOn another note... I was carrying around my REAL baby & felt weird on Saturday. I can't imagine why anyone would carry around a fake baby? a) it's a pain to be responsible for something other than your beer and b) he didn't even dress up the baby, which was the best part of having Ella out with us for part of the day.
That baby is really creepy.
ReplyDeleteThe man and his baby. Yikes!

Looks like you had a lot of fun! I wish I could have made an elf to scare my old students. You're so clever!
