I am so distraught about save the date stuff – should we do photos, cards, magnets, candy, nothing – I can’t decide! My new emailpal and bff is my photographer (everyday I realize we have more and more in common) and she has been trying to help me come up with ideas for our s.t.d. I first liked the photo booth motif, but our friends are doing it and we have to be original. Then we thought about taking a picture of a heart w/ our wedding date in the sand, making cards, and sending those out – but that is difficult when the beach stinks this time of year. So now we are hoping it snows during our Gobbler day celebration in Ohio, so we can take a picture in the snow. I think a snowy save the date would be cute since our wedding is on the sunny beach. But who knows – what if it doesnt snow!?!?!?!?!?!
On Brooklyn Bride’s blog she mentioned MagnetStreet Weddings is having a Thanksgiving sale on their products. Unfortunately, we are not going to be able to take advantage of the discount because we don’t know what in the world we are doing, but I checked out the website anyways and I dig what they do. You can use your own photo to make postcards with a bajillion different templates.
This one I likey a lot: Funny Bride and Groom Cartoon. Obviously I used my awesome paintshop skills to remove the names and photos of the people on the website.
The next card is called Fiesta – however I really only like it for the red and green…if you would like to see what it is supposed to look like just go to the website. Once again, my paintshop skills have erased the people MagnetStreet Weddings used, and I have superimposed the beautious couple.
