I never make New Year’s resolutions…but this year is going to be an exception.
(I know I am not supposed to obsess over what I am going to look like on my wedding day, but it is going to happen and no one can stop me. I will write all about how I think women are nuts for dieting and getting routine facials, manicures, and conditioning treatments – all the while adhering to some crazy regimen myself.)
My New Year’s resolution is – To take the 9 months and 16 days leading up to my wedding to be the healthiest person I can be- physically, emotionally, and mentally. This will consist of cutting back on alcohol, sweets (NOOOOO), fatty cheese (Double NOOOO), working some sort of physical activity into my daily routine, and not picking petty fights with my loverboy.
If anyone witnesses me going back on my New Year’s Resolution, I give you full permission to kick me in the shin and punch me in the stomach. Or just grab the fat on my turkey leg and tell me my hair is starting to look dry and brittle and that I am too mean to B…then I will jump back on track to success.
Also… I have to reiterate that my New Year’s resolution does not take affect until AFTER January 4th.
