Wearing matching Christmas pajamas have been a staple in my household since I was little. Christmas Eve is a HUGE deal. Every year my Mom would give my sister and me matching jammies on Christmas Eve. As we got older, my Mom included herself, my sister in law, and my other sister Tine. Then my Dad, brother, and nephews. Everyone received pajamas on Christmas Eve and even if we weren’t in completely identical outfits, they were similiar.
When Brandon started spending Christmas with my family, he was included in the matchy-matchfest as well. He didn’t understand why we would get new pajamas every year that were red/green/snowflakes/santa when we could just wear the ones from the previous Xmas. I told him, “Put your new jammies on and don’t complain.” He won’t admit it, but I think he enjoyed strutting around in coordinating outfits at our family brunch. THEN, a few years later, I got my in-laws on the Christmas Jammie train and the tradition was set in stone. My husband could not escape my obsession with matching on Christmas Eve, even if we are just color coordinated.
Now that I will be spending Christmas Eve with my little family of four, I have been on the hunt for the perfect Christmas pajamas. HOWEVER, it seems like I am not the only person on this planet who needs jammies for her family. I’ve been window shopping for weeks, and now when I am ready to make my purchase, everything is sold out. What gives Christmas Pajama World?!
In years past, my Mom came to my rescue and found Plaid Christmas Pajamas for the Family on Amazon. They had every size available in these Sleepytime Plaid Pajamas and shipped in just two days with Amazon Prime. If you don’t like those, here are some Pajamagram Fireside Fleece Plaid pajamas or the cutest red and white reindeer pjs.
To save you some stress, here is a compilation of some amazing family Christmas pajamas!
Enjoy and shop NOW before they are all sold out.
Hanna Andersson offers quite an array of fun Christmas/Holiday pajamas for everyone in your family (including the dog). I love these fair isle pjs and the coordinating union suits (haha flaps on the butt!).
Target is another store to carry a whole line of family pajamas for the holiday season. I bought the girls’ pjs last year from Target by Burts Bees and this year I have my eye on the Hearth and Home for Magnolia pajamas in green plaid.
Burts Bees makes pajamas for the entire family that are cozy, organic, and adorable!
As a last resort, my family hits up Old Navy for inexpensive flannel pajama pants and thermal tops when we can’t find matching outfits. The guys in the family appreciate this since they aren’t forced to wear two piece snowman pajamas. Other stores that carry festive tops and bottoms: J.Crew Factory, Macy’s, and even Walmart.
Do you wear matching pajamas on Christmas? If so, where do you find them?
